FUEL TRAIN SUPPORT

FUEL TRAIN SERVICE & SAFETY WITH FEDERAL THERMAL

Your fuel train system has more than just fuel running through it. Both gas and oil systems are susceptible to corrosion because of condensate, piping scale, and other foreign materials. These materials can damage or block the safety valve from fully closing while diaphragm valves can have embrittlement, aging, and rupture. This creates the apparent need for our safety testing and fuel train service in Oklahoma.

MAINTENANCE DONE RIGHT

Maintenance

Oklahoma state law requires that all equipment on a boiler be maintained per the manufacturer’s recommendations. One of these recommendations across manufacturers is fuel train safety shutoff valves and associated High Pressure and Low Pressure safety switches should have the ASME/ANSI 21.21 Leak Test performed at least once per year. Normally this can be completed during the boiler’s annual inspection.

Leak Test

The Leak Test includes:

  • Test the Low Gas and High Gas Pressure Switches

  • Test the Safety Shutoff Valves

  • Post-Test Procedures

Our highly trained team members are experienced and versed in the standards and safety precautions of this test.
