STEAM TRAP SURVEYS

FEDERAL SELLS SOLUTIONS

If your steam trap is operating inefficiently with a leak, obstruction, or any other issue, it can cost you in more ways than one. Testing to make sure it's running correctly without excess is important for safety, productivity, and the lifetime of your equipment.

OUR PROCESS

Visual Testing

This method uses established visual cues for steam traps that operate cyclically to identify areas of concern.

Temperature Testing

This involves testing the temperature of both the inlet and outlet of the steam trap to find any problems.

Ultrasonic Trap Testing

We calibrate the Ultrasonic Testing device to find the flow of water and steam set up vibrations to test the steam trap’s operation.

Conductivity Testing

Conductivity testing uses the electrical conductivity of the condensate to detect steam trap issues.
